Renay Jemison is a doula here in Savannah, Georgia. She owns Holistic Care Doula and Beyond. We asked her a couple of questions to get to know her better.
What do you do in your role?
I am a certified labor doula and soon to be certified postpartum doula. I provide emotional, physical, and informational support to my clients.
What is your favorite problem to solve for your clients?
My favorite problem to solve is how to help them to realize that they are strong and can do this.
What do you like to do in your free time?
It is kind of crazy, but I love to exercise in my free time especially if it is out in nature.
What is a helpful tip you'd like to share with the local birth community?
Be kind to yourself for you are strong and capable.
